What we liked
- + Tension mount with a simple lift and lock method that installs and uninstalls with ease, per the listing.
- + Latch slides onto the locking bar, which the listing describes as a clear sign the gate is secured.
- + Wood frame with lightweight plastic mesh that is easy to clean.
Trade-offs
- - No walk-through door, so adults step over it or take it down to pass.
- - At 23 inches it is a low, basic gate, and the listing describes it for blocking doorways.
