Our score8.3/10Mid-range
Chicco Alfa Lite Nest Ultra-Lightweight Portable Playard with Bassinet
Chicco's Alfa Lite Nest is a 15 lb portable playard with a zip-on infant bassinet. The legs snap open in a single motion with no assembly, and it folds compactly into a zippered carry bag.
A compact playpen carves out a safe, contained zone where your baby can play while you cook, work, or rest, then folds down to tuck away when floor space is scarce. It is a lifesaver for parents in apartments and open-plan homes who cannot leave a bulky enclosure standing all day. When choosing, weigh the folded size and whether it comes with a carry bag, how quickly the frame opens one-handed, and the footprint versus the play area inside. Look for breathable mesh walls for airflow and sightlines, a stable non-tip base, and a washable mat. Lightweight models double as travel play yards for visits and holidays.
