Confirm the footprint fits your room now, not just in theory, and measure the space before buying. A common mistake in small apartments is choosing a convertible crib for its long-term value without accounting for how much room the full-size frame takes up during the newborn and infant months, when a mini crib or bassinet might fit the space better.
